I had a quite comfortable experience here, everything was excellent, the location was beautiful close to the beautiful sights in Monterey, restaurants, bars and fishermen wharf and the war and cannery row. This was my 2nd stay, they offered deluxe room with a balcony.

Relaxing and comfy place, we felt safe!
The location was magnificent and easy, for example, Waterfront was not too far from the hotel. Everyone who worked there was affable.

The cozy fireplace added warmth, while the hot tub was out of order.

Hotel is of modern design and clean. Relatively quiet even though situated on a busy Monterey street.Large rooms.Free wi-fi and parking is a luxury in downtown Monterey!
Could hear the Mexican restaurant at night when windows are open. However, with windows closed you could barely hear the noise.

Cozy Stay with Friendly Service
The cleaning staff was attentive and brought us extra towels promptly. I loved relaxing by the outdoor fire pit in the evening. For breakfast, don't miss the delicious breakfast burritos. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

Good size room. The hotel has a small swimmingpool & jaquzzi, where you can relax after a busy day. At the reception you can buy ticketsfor the Aquarium (same price), so you can walk in without queing up.There is a ice machine, so you can have ice as much as you want.

Reasonably large and fairly clean venue with a great value and efficient and hospitable staff. Ideal, convenient location in Munras Avenue district so close to the downtown area and good restaurants. Also, to Monterey centre.

I loved the cozy fireplace and how clean our room was. The breakfast was great, albeit pricey, but worth it for quality. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed in newer section and room was very clean
Services were hard to find. You could tell the extra services was not normal and you had to ask to find the services. Eating area too small and not really a dining room. We did not eat there. No on line check out, Inside of lobby lacked character. Seemed clinical.

The staff was accommodating,. The room was spacious, equipped with a comfortable bed, and a large bathroom that allowed for a relaxing evening after work. The business center was a key asset, providing efficient services including printing and copying, which met all my work needs.
Could use more seating in common areas.

The desk staff were very professional. The design was a good mix of old charm and modern.
There was a huge bug/worm in my room. Cleaner removed promptly though. The bathroom looked nice, but was not practical. Sink shallow. Very small shower shelf.
